MyPascoConnect Guide is an independent help site for people trying to use the Pasco County Schools single sign-on portal and the systems around it — myStudent, myLearning (Canvas) and the district school calendar.
We write plain-language walkthroughs for tasks the official documentation covers in scattered places: which of the three district systems answers your question, what a username actually is, who can reset a password, and why a particular error is happening.
What this site is not
We are not Pasco County Schools. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the District School Board of Pasco County, ClassLink, Focus School Software or Instructure. We have no access to any account, record, grade or credential.
There is no login form anywhere on this site. We do not ask for and cannot accept usernames, passwords, student ID numbers, PINs, verification codes or payment details. If you ever see a page claiming to be us that asks for those, it is not us — close it and go to the district portal directly.
Who edits this guide
This site is written and edited by John Willson, who is responsible for what is published here and for acting on corrections. We are readers of the district’s own documentation, not district staff, and we say so on every page rather than implying an authority we do not have.
If something on this site is wrong or out of date, the fastest way to get it fixed is to send us the page and the correction. We date every page with the day it was last checked against district sources so you can judge for yourself how current it is.
How we source information
Every factual claim is checked against a primary source — usually a Pasco County Schools page, a Pasco eSchool support document, or the vendor's own documentation. Where a page states something specific we link the source inline so you can verify it yourself rather than taking our word for it.
Time-sensitive facts such as school calendar dates are quoted from the district's approved PDF, dated with the day we checked them, and always paired with the district's live calendar and subscription feed, because a copied calendar is wrong the first time the district amends it and families plan around those dates.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it. Accuracy matters more to us than page count — several pages that previously existed on this site were removed rather than updated, because they covered systems the district has retired.
Pages carry a "last verified" date. That reflects when a human last checked the page against district sources, not when a file was touched.
Accessibility
We aim to keep this site usable with a keyboard and a screen reader: a skip link on every page, real heading structure, visible focus states, text that reflows on small screens, and colour contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA. If something here blocks you, please tell us — we treat it as a bug.
